Els Club driving towards family fun with new pool and gym plans

Work underway to double clubhouse size and create resort-style facilities

The Els Club is teeing up a range of new facilities for members and families – including doubling the size of the five-star clubhouse.

Not only that, but the Championship golf course will have a gym, swimming pool, new restaurants, kids’ play area and resort-style family facilities.

Work is already underway on the massive extension, which will be available for both golf club and leisure members.

It is due to be finished in autumn this year.

 

The 25-metre pool will be designed for keen swimmers.

We’re told to expect an “urban chic-style” gym, which means extensive indoor and outdoor spaces for classes and workouts, apparently.

As well as a new restaurant, the clubhouse will also have a grooming salon and updated locker room.

If you want to try before you buy, the summer privilege card is for you, as it gives golfers access to all the club facilities over the summer.

Individuals and families can select four of five months until September 30 to taste the full Els Club membership experience.
